Sophia runs Books in the Making Club which offers a series of workshops including bookbinding, papermaking and zine creation. The book club was first formed as a way to bring friends together and make affordable sketchbooks using basic bookbinding techniques while chatting about books and zines that the group were reading. The sessions have since progressed and Sophia has co-facilitated a range of workshops with local artists and has collaborated with Hobsons Bay City Council to provide low cost workshops at Wood Street Art Space, Laverton. Whilst living in London she worked as a Schools and Youth Officer at Vauxhall City Farm and ran environmental programs with children and young people. Her workshops are designed to bring together art and ecology in ways that are accessible, practical, and engaging.
